Skippy loves escaping for weekends away and family holidays in the North West of England. All he needs is someone to love him as much as we do while you’re on the road.
Driving isn’t driving until you’ve sat behind the wheel of a VW camper van. Designed for freedom. Built (and rebuilt) with love. Made for Road Trips where plans are vague, timings don’t matter and destinations? Well, you’ll just go where the wind blows you.
There’s room for 4, with 2 x 3-point seat belts in the rear (suitable for child seats), and a buddy seat with a lap belt. The rear seat folds out to form a bed with a foam mattress. The roof elevates allowing 2 more people to comfortably sleep in the roof space. It makes for a great kids’ den!
Skippy is fitted with a cooker, sink with pumped water, a cool box, and 12v and 240v electric hook up - all in a totally original interior!
For Road Trips and weekend breaks in Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria and Cheshire, Chase the Sun with Skippy.
Prices start from £275. Please contact us for a quotation.
We ask that you remain in the North West, or thereabouts, for the duration of your short hire. For longer holidays we ask that you cover no more than an average of 70 miles per day.
Prices include everything you’ll need: fully comprehensive insurance for 2 drivers (age 25 years and older), AA cover, mileage – no hidden extras.
You can collect Skippy from 3pm on the day of hire – and he’ll need to be back with us by 11am when your hire period’s over.
We’ll need you to return Skippy in (roughly) the same clean, tidy condition you found him.
Please allow around 1 hour for an induction when you collect the camper. This will give us time to show you how things work and where everything is.
At the end of your trip, please allow 30 minutes for us to check Skippy’s still in one piece!
A returnable £500 security bond is required to cover us against any damage to the camper whilst in your possession. You pay this in cash when you collect the camper van, and you get it back when you return Skippy to us damage-free.
